Like Xel-Ha, Xcaret is an all-inclusive park, with your access fee getting you a meal at their buffet, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, snorkel equipment, and locker access. 4. Playa Akumal
Finally, Playa Akumal is the perfect spot for kayakers and snorkelers, and you’ll find rich, abundant sea life and coral. Be forewarned, however – in addition to various sea life, like turtles and small fish, these waters are also home to barracudas. Make sure you’ve got proper swimming attire! The majority of visitors to Akumal enjoy swimming with the turtles, so be sure you’ve got snorkeling equipment.
